Alice and Bev are from Your Inspired Beauty, They provided the make up for the pre and actual shoot:
"When we were approached to do Trash The Dress. Our first immediate thought was Why? Our next thought was Great! We could really explore make up options instead of the normal natural make up which is normally requested of us. We really enjoy working with Glenn and Colin at various events during the year and having the opportunity to do something new and unique was really exciting for us. After lots of planning meetings and various discussions with the florist on colours and styles etc we decided to really push the boat out and go for wild make up with fantastic feather lashes. The colours we were going to use was going to compliment the glorious flower arrangements by The Floral Studio. It also showed how we could use different brush and blend techniques."

"We arrived on the Saturday afternoon to glorious Cornish sunshine and after 3 and half hours of driving the girls and photographers were eager to get out and capture the fading sun. Lovely natural colour tones were quickly applied to emphasise the girls features then off we set up the first hill top overlooking Widemouth Bay. There we spent 1 ½ hours adjusting, manoeuvring and assisting the crazy photographers and models as they proceeded to take some breathtaking shots on the hillside.We then moved down to the bay itself for a few amazing sunset shots overlooked by various locals and budding photographers too.An evening of local fish and chips and of course wine ensued along with lots of laughter and excited expectation for the next days activities."

"Up nice and early on the Sunday morning . Lots of vibrant pinks, blues, greens and autumn colours were applied to the models with our normal Jane Iredale minerals bases. This was going to be a big test today to hope the base stayed in place during the frollicks. Once this was applied the lashes were put on and their transformation was nearly complete! I think the girls were a little shocked at first as it was truly out of their comfort zone. But the look was effective once Kyle had done her hair magic and the girls had re-adhourned their dresses. Off up a cliff again!!!! To get some absolutely amazing shots and then down onto a stoned beach before heading off to entertain the visitors and locals of Bude! Here the girls sweeped through the streets quite literally before stopping off for tea and refreshments."

This brought lots of amazed faces and whispering “whats going on here then” “is it a special wedding lol”

"The finale was insight as we made our way to a lovely beach and proceeded to prepare the girls for their steps into the sea. It was all it should of been, laughter, tears, playful squeals of delight and a great finish to the weekend.  We were so pleased with the way the make up lasted after wind, sea and sand was pushed against it."

"It was great to be around such lovely people who enjoyed each others talents too. We all had the time of our lives and it was great to be a part of this venture. Cannot wait to do this again."
